Frédéric Lechenault

Frédéric is a CNRS researcher in experimental physics, specialized in mechanical metamaterials and statistical physics. His interest for AI has led him to harness reinforcement learning algorithms to gain insights into various physical situations, ranging from memory in model disordered systems to seismic risk evaluation. He was recently appointed Associate Professor in AI at PSL University, thus actively teaching the latest machine learning techniques. He is now involved in various projects involving AI, among which the ANR MERLIN which aims at simulating the dynamics of RNA for pharmaceutical applications.
