I am a biophysicist interest in many aspects of living systems, from the immune system to development. I work both on direct modeling approaches and data driven analysis of living systems.
Champ de recherche
The precision and reproducibility of biological processes amazes us yet poses a challenge to our understanding of the physical principles that control the emergent properties of biological systems. My research in the field of theoretical biophysics focuses on describing and understanding the behaviour of such strongly interacting, stochastic, nonlinear biological systems. The elements of these systems interact to result in properties which are qualitatively different than the characteristics of their composing subsystems. My recent research focusses on data driven approaches to learn about the effective designs used in immune receptors, bird flocks, development and proteins, as well statistical modeling of gene regulation and immune receptors.
